Simultaneously Breaking Records & the Glass Ceiling: Women Entrepreneurs

JCE Women's Panel

From left to right: Head of Dean's Office Dr. Gitit Gilran interviews our distinguished panel: Orit, Gali, and Ornit.

In celebration of International Women’s Day and as part of JCE’s Women’s Empowerment and Leadership Program, JCE held its first annual day-long women’s symposium, which included performances by female entertainers, a zumba class for women, and the main event, a panel of three successful female entrepreneurs: Ornit Shinar, CEO of Sanchi Consulting, Orit Hashay, Founder and CEO at Brayola, and Gali Ross, Founder and CEO at Razoss. These three women inspired the attendees of students and faculty (both female and male) by sharing anecdotes and tips from their respective experiences forging ahead in the start-up world. This inspiring event is the first of more to come and is part of JCE’s endeavor to encourage more women to enter the field of engineering and technology, thus joining their male counterparts, securing viable professions, and achieving self-sufficiency.
