Terms of acceptance - basic requirements

Matriculation certificate

Candidates for the engineering degree must produce a matriculation certificate or approval of grades from the Ministry of Education & Culture with the notation “Entitled to a Matriculation Certificate.”

The average matriculation grade will be calculated as an optimal weighted average.

 


English

Candidates for an engineering degree must produce certification of a passing grade at the level of 4 study units and a minimum Level 3 of English as determined by the English sub-test in the psychometric testing or in an AMIR/AMIRAM test score – testing for levels of English by the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation.

Levels of English are determined based on the following division:

Score in the English section of the psychometric exam

Score in the AMIR/AMIRAM tests

Level of English

134 and above

234 and above

Exempt

120-133

220-233

Level 1

100-119

200-219

Level 2

85-99

185-199

Level 3 – acceptance threshold

Only students who are classified as Level 3 or higher may be accepted to the College.

Candidates whose psychometric score is higher than 650 will be exempt from English studies, beginning with a score of 130 in the English section or 230 in the AMIR Test.
