Geller Family Foundation Building

Lecture Building

We are proud to share that we have completed a 107,600 square foot building, which serves as the college’s new lecture and classroom building. With thanks to the Nathan, Anne, Kim and Julian Geller Foundation, the Geller Family Building includes 41 classrooms (in three different sizes), a student study center, lecture centers, a cafeteria, student lounges, a student services center, and faculty offices. It is divided over six floors and provides students with almost everything they need for a complete engineering program. Almost, because they still need affordable and conveniently located housing in the city, which is why we are currently building a dormitory tower for that purpose. The Geller Lecture Building and the Student Housing Tower join the original college building, named the Alexander Grass Building for Engineering Laboratories.

The Housing Tower is available for naming (click here for a more details and here for a short video), and within the Geller Lecture Building and the Alexander Grass Building, there remain a number of naming opportunities, such as:

Lecture Center

The 8,500 square foot Lecture Center includes two auditoriums situated adjacent to one another and comprises the building’s lowest floor. Each auditorium seats 132 people and covers an area of 2,850 square feet, plus a 2,800 square foot concourse.

The lecture halls include stadium seating, accessibility ramps, interactive projectors, and state-of-the-art sound and light systems. Although they are enclosed like a movie theater and underground, there is a street-level entrance, thanks to the building’s innovative design. Each auditorium is separated by a special acoustic wall, so that simultaneous events in each room do not disturb each other. The center also include washrooms, an elevator bank, and a sheltered classroom. Running the length of the auditoriums is an entrance lobby, serving as a reception area and a viewing gallery for showcasing art exhibits.

Center for Career Services and Alumni Relations  A True Building Block for Jerusalem’s Future

With the goal of propelling the region’s young people into professional and self-sustaining careers and ensuring that our graduates can serve the industry’s needs, at the very heart of ACE Jerusalem lies its educational excellence. Hand-in-hand with our academic focus is our vision for students and alumni to assume leadership roles both professionally and socially. To that end, we recognize the need for a comprehensive center for career services and alumni relations as a fundamental facet of ACE Jerusalem.

As the college continues to invest in the country’s most important natural resource- its human capital, career guidance, job placement, follow-up, and ongoing relationships with graduates are essential to fulfilling our vision for Jerusalem and its residents.

Components of the Center:

  • Dedicated expert career guidance counselors to prepare graduating students for the job search as well as to provide long-term career consultation
  • Ongoing contact and collaboration with alumni to help place fellow graduates into jobs
  • Networking events for alumni
  • Development of an alumni scholarship fund for current ACE students in order to complete the circle of empowerment for generations of Jerusalem’s young people and fulfillment of the college’s vision for its graduates
  • Ongoing leadership forum for alumni in professional development, social initiatives, and community improvement through lectures, seminars, and workshops with expert speakers and mentors
  • Social responsibility incubator- a network for alumni intent on creating social initiatives- through the college, its volume of student activists, and its connection with industry partners to help develop and promote alumni community projects
